Women in Science Japan (WISJ) hosts a variety of members-only and public events throughout the year. Recent events include:

• Annual Flagship Event, a half-day event for WISJ members and the broader community to be inspired and discuss issues facing women in STEM.

• International Women’s Day 2024 event on STEM entrepreneurship in Japan.

• Twice-monthly general meetings, where we plan upcoming events and discuss current and future initiatives.

• Twice-monthly online book club, where we discuss a book covering gender equality, STEM, or Japan, such as our current book club selection, “Invisible Women.”

• STEM Stories, an online members-only event where WISJ members share technical and professional insights from their career journey.
